the second pic, lower right is actually graffiti as well and not a person. that 'person' is approximately 2.5' tall so for scale, these graffiti shots are approximately 1 story tall.

Of course sometimes it just doesn't work. I'm not trying to be a jerk. I mean, I like the colors and composition but it's just missing a little something to make it pop. Just my observation.
Usually when people don't want to be in pictures, I tell them they don't have to have their face in it. She can have her back to the camera or face down looking into a phone. And if they see it and it's a brilliant pic, they'll pose for real next time.
