I should have my older dog do that lol.
we'll let him have a ball for a few seconds, then take the ball and pull him out of the room. we'll rub the ball over various items and eventually hide it somewhere like under a couch cushion. we'll call him back in and he'll go on a scavenger hunt sniffing out each place we rubbed it on till he finds his ball lol.
