There's a liquor store on Hastings in Burnaby that has a pretty solid assortment of German imported beer. I completely forget the name, but it's on the left hand side as you drive East.
I picked up a whole bunch of my favorites, as well as some new brews I've never tried and I was very impressed with Edelweiss Snowfresh (Austria):
