you probably lost a lot of matches in a row or in a short period of time?
If you get killed a lot by lower ranked opponents and lose the match you are prone to getting deranked.
If you lose by a huge blowout (ie 4-16) you are prone to deranking.
If you get lots of higher ranked opponents killed then you win the match you are prone to getting ranked up.
No idea if getting points and MVP stars does anything...these are just the general rule of the elo rating system as in chess
