I was a bit skeptical at first, too, coming from a Cobra Titanium Gravity Back 10.5 degree and a Ping Titanium ISI 8.5 degree, but I found the 12 degree gives me a lot more carry distance and more overall distance compared to the others (there are probably other factors, too).
