Where you at? I can help. Seriously LOL.

I knoooooow...there' s a guy I play with at UBC and the SECOND he opens his bag, everyone in the room holds their breath LOL.

With gear, it's not so much the sweat, but the accumulation of bacteria within the fabrics of the gear. They grow and fester in it, which is potentially actually toxic to you. All you need is a cut and the wrong moment, and that's how staph infections start up. It'll make you sick, and at worst, develop into limb/digit removal. Chris Higgins was out a couple seasons ago because of it.

With gloves, given its use, I would spray and dry EVERY time.

There's a dude in Ontario that makes this AWESOME spray which deodorizes AND kills bacteria. It's worked better than ANYTHING i've tried. ANYTHING.

Get it. NOW.

As for equipment washing, I'm more than happy to help.

Drying wise, anyone with a bit of indoor space, Get this:
Rocket Sport Dryer - The Hockey Shop Source for Sports | Bauer, CCM, Warrior, Reebok, Vaughn, Brians, Gongshow, NHL, Goalie

i have one, and it works WONDERS. Just make sure your shit is clean first then start using it.
