anyone know if the cell phone places that fix water damage etc can fix itouch screens?

i have like one of the first gen itouch's and it was left out in the rain, i dried it out in rice and now it still works but the screen is SUPER dim, like you can only see whats going on in direct light and the touch sensor no longer works
