Listened to it this morning and they had one of the guys from Tragically Hip on. They were talking music for the first 5 mins I heard then switched to sports and the Hip guy had nothing to really offer.
I think my brother said it best, "I tune into 1040 to listen to expert, in-depth analysis of sports. Not music and other BS. If i wanted to do that, I'd listen to a rock station."
IMO, its Bro Jake flexing his rock and roll muscle thinking, "Look what I bring to the show".. when overall its not what the committed fanbase wants. Hopefully it improves, or I see this experiment being short lived.
