We say that every year.
I'm actually with Hondaracer on this one. (At least for me personally)The Sedins have never been a question about skill, but always have been a question about heart.
We can keep trading or altering the personel in our bottom line pluggers (who probably will play 5 to 10 minutes at best - possibly even considerably less in the play offs, or in games where we're behind), and really, you've not changed much about the team dynamic.
I'm also not a fan of the team philosophy either where losses recently just seem very ho-hum. Following this team for as long as I can remember, it's sad to observe that the fans themselves have wayyy more emotional investment in the hockey games than the players themselves, more often than not. Although I may not be in the room so I can only judge from the outside, I'm willing to guess that it's the leadership that's the culprit of this effect; which again the question mark goes back to the Sedins.
Honestly, I love the Sedins as people. Great players, great for the local community. It's just that I wish their game had a Mr. Hyde in their Dr. Jekyll. But considering how long we've been following them, I'm not holding my breath. It's just not who they are.
