I haven't used a 3T carbon bar but I am using a 3T aluminum bar. I believe they measure the bars from centre of the bar ends, not at the hoods. I think what you'll have to look at is the drop angles etc. I'm using the Ergosum Pro which I prefer over the Ergonova. Two very different bars altogether.
