I run the standard/race crank. Never rode on a compact crank before, so can't answer you on that. Even my last bike I rode standard.
When I was fitted for my bike I had the option to choose between standard and compact.
The fitter mentioned that the 11 speed standard crank would compensate well with my build and body. Went with 172.5 - 52-36
