If you're in the top 10% of men with looks, wealth, and charisma, all the power to you. If you're not, when you get to your 30s, this type of attitude leaves you underlaid and forever alone.
By all accounts, this woman is a princess and deserves to be dumped. But on the other hand, most women want some sort of engagement ring that at least looks somewhat impressive (cubic zirconia, or not unless you date someone from a village in Asia who has no expectations except citizenship.)
