I don't mean to nitpick, but he has scored 40 goals.. so technically, he is. However, I do agree he's probably never going to do it again.
I think Kes goes to those areas just as well as Burr does myself...
Anyway, I guess what I'm saying is, overall, (not directed at you) people seem to quickly turn their backs on players who have done so much for the organization. I can name a bunch of players Canucks' fans have turned their backs on, and I'm sure you could too. I guess I'm just loyal to a fault..

To clarify, Burrows is probably the only player on the team that is willing and consistently parks himself in front of the net every season, then get rocked after the whistle, and just get up, brush it off, when all the other guys already halfway to the bench.
Kesler dwells too much around the hashmarks/above the faceoff circle nowadays waiting for someone to hit him up or he just skates there and takes a shot. He could get away with it before but def not now.
I don't wanna shift it to a Burr vs Kes cause you really don't have one without the other, but you get consistent grit/physicality, less ego, willingness to adapt and a team player with Burr but Kes is an awesome leader who should turn it around. He had a slow start in 2011-2012 and got way better after the first month so.
There are people who do turn their backs against players, most casual fans have a "what have you done for me lately" attitude, while most of us here I'd think are just critical yet disappointed (but with an ounce of optimism) and praying for him to get it together.
And strong Edler suspension... slowly building that rap sheet.. he sucks when he doesn't play physical.....
inb4 my boy Alberts is penciled into the line-up again
