I fill up premium, shell only. I don't want to deal with knocks, or the car retarding itself to prevent itself from knocking.
Did the +2 timing mod, along with the exhaust, intake, and plenum, I will never again feel comfortable running anything besides premium.
On that note anyone in this thread who dislikes their gas consumption, remember me when you fuel up and thank the heavens your not in my shoes. I have an FX35, so imagine your gas mileage if you were towing a small boat behind you or something, thats what i get. Whatever you pay for gas trust me mines worse, and the best part about all this is my other car is a domestic pickup with a 6.0L, so I have no choice in the matter.
Slap a "Prius Repellent" sticker above your exhaust tip, and have a laugh about your fuel economy. At the end of the day your driving a really nice car, and you gotta pay to play.
