Many people do so and end up there doing poorly with a low 2.0 GPA and wasting their time. I am currently at Kwantlen doing my BBA and I am enjoying it over my time at SFU. I really like how the classes are small and how you can receive support from the professors ASAP, because of this my grades are much better than the grades I had at SFU. With my current GPA I'm pretty sure I can transfer to SFU or UBC business with no problem, but I'm not sure if I will anytime soon because I'm enjoying my learning experience at Kwantlen. I don't really care where I graduate anymore.

Very true statement. Friend is in SFU for the prestige that follows it...barely even passing

. Also, BCIT is great if you want to get into business. However, I've heard the workload is insane
