Roam Mobility uses T-Mobile's network, so you will get good coverage in core areas of any big cities. But that's it. Roam has access to T-Mobile's network. In contrast, if you are a regular T-Mobile user, you have access to T-Mobile's network just like Roam Mobility users, but you also gain access to T-Mobile's roaming agreement network from other cellular providers.

When you go to a more remote location such as Gorge (Paradiso), Roam will get crap signal because you are far from the normal network. If you are a T-Mobile user, you get excellent signal. You are probably riding on AT&T or other provider.
