Yeah I can help you with the knee blocks. There are ways to do it without significant sewing/stitching. I wouldn't bother spending money on moving the blocks down though. It costs too much for what the pads are worth.
What size are your pads? Do you know your ATK measurement?
I'm not impressed with my P4 18k catcher. I have a propalm in it and after only 6 months it's starting to wear out. The nylon strings are crapping out too.
