the cab driver could've taken different route to avoid traffic jam. It gets really bad sometimes. When I rent car in Vegas, depending on the time of the day, I often take long route to avoid traffic and it IS faster to go around in many cases.

it was around 10:45 am when we arrived at airport. and when we left the hotel going home it was around 9:30am ish?
