Why do you say that?
I always do an oil change, use a conventional oil + seafoam, run for a week then drain -- never had any issues doing it this way. Probably seems a bit wasteful but I'm OCD I guess.
I've used seafoam on engines notoriously "worse" than the accord v6 for seal issues/leaking oil and its been fine.
But fawk .. When I pulled out the tranny dipstick there was a big metal flake stuck to it .. kinda ominous
