No research studies of course, but this is what I've concluded based on:
- My years as a bachelor in my 20s in Vancouver.
- What some of my bachelor friends (who want Asian women) are experiencing right now in their 30s.
- Numerous articles written about the so-called lackluster dating scene in Vancouver that basically feature only Caucasian women.
- Women I've come across through various channels - it's pretty easy to tell who's single and who's not.
- A Facebook survey of people from my high school grad class. My high school grad class was over 50% Chinese and the vast majority of these women are married or in long-term relationships. Extrapolate that to basically every other high school grad class from Vancouver between 1990 and 2000 and I'm sure you'll see similar results.
