The process is essentially the same where you book your interview online and pay the renewal fee. The only difference is the waiting time as there is little to no wait depending on the location you choose.

In my experience, I've done all my renewals at their Downtown location at the BC Hydro Building as they have the least waiting times. Book an appointment, walk in, they ask a few questions, snap a new photo and you're on your way. Wait a week or two for new NEXUS card in the mail and that's it! My most recent renewal was a year or two ago. I booked my appointment online and there were many open spots available, even on the day-of.

They don't ask you as many questions compared to the initial one. They just check to see if everything is still correct (criminal convictions, address, occupation, why you want NEXUS etc.)

Hope that helps.
I initiated an on-line renewal at the end of October. If memory serves me, there is a renewal button but it's essentially a new application. It was approved December 18. I received my a Nexus card 10 days later. No appointment / interview was required.
