EA does this for a lot of their games. They are a shit company and its not surprising they were voted one of the worst companies 2 times in a row. I think the company will eventually die with the way they do their business unless they do something about it. The last game I got from them (as a present) was the latest simcity and it was complete garbage. They released it way too fast with too many bugs and glitches. Everyone was pissed off because the servers which you had to play on wouldn't even work properly.
Deadlines are important but looking at how Rockstar had to delay GTA5, it disappointed a lot of people but it was the right decision to not release a game that wasn't ready.
