100% agree.
Not all mainlanders are "locusts" and not all HKers are greedy pigs looking to take advantage of the locusts.
It all comes down to shit poor mismanagement by the government, and the fact that these two groups - the locusts and the greedy pigs - are the only ones who can choose who runs HK.
The fact that these greedy fucks are the ones with all the power is what is ruining Hong Kong. Complaining about the cigarette smoke and the suitcases is only on a meta level. IE what affects my life personally. The big picture is, the way this place is lead needs to be changed. Universal suffrage needs to happen. But it won't. This is why I said HK is going to hell, this can be clearly observed over my 10 years living here. And the place as we know it will be gone forever eventually.
The normal every day people, who are negatively affected by this and see no benefit from it, outnumber the greedy people who have all the control. Look at how many people show up to protests. You won't see any rich land developers there, just the vast majority of people who are normal middle class people. They have NO power at all, even though their basic law states that they should. That is the problem, not the guy with the crew cut smoking an acrid cigarette while his wife holds their son over a garbage can to piss in it.
