I didn't want to comment until hearing the full story.. I still haven't, but apparently she was bullied at the gym for wearing TUF gear. And in this case, she was jumped from behind which is how she got injured.
There is more to this story.. there has to be if he is THAT mad.

I would bet, that someone bigger took her out from the side... Maybe a takedown or something from the side/behind/blindspot.
Nate Quarry had a similar thing happen taping TUF1 when Couture took someone down info him.
It nearly happens all the time if you're not careful. At my gym, our fighters take the whole cage when they are doing their sparring to avoid this. Accidents happen.
(This is purely speculation and I have no inside info... But it makes the most sense to me with all the weird tidbits coming out.)
