You're not going to get the same dollar figure for a bike in Nov-Mar as you are in July. Even at that so many overpriced used bikes, they make buying a new bike almost a no brainer. I was looking to upgrade all last summer and for the type of bike I was looking there was probably at least a dozen bikes that were for sale all summer long. If your bike does not sell in a month or less during prime riding season you're asking to much for it, common sense. I'm willing to bet most of those bikes will be back up for sale this summer at the same price for sale all summer long.
