If you're talking about the gear cables looping near the stem not sure you can do too much about that, maybe just tighten it up a touch. Too much would add friction to the shifter cables and make your high end shifting sluggish. I've seen some s2 and s5 setup with cables running right along the stem and making a tight bend into the top tube... it looks slick but I doubt if it will perform well over especially over time.
