The difference, of course, is that UFC serves as the promoter for these guys, and in boxing, the money goes to their promoters after their salary. So if GSP makes 400K, that is because they don't have to disclose a $6 million payout followed by 5.6 million going to his promoter. In the case of Marquez and Bradley, that is what is happening. Of the $6 million Marquez is being paid, we don't know how much goes to Gary Shaw. Probably at least $5 million of it. For Marquez, his money goes to Golden Boy.
