Having the players in the Olympics does no good for the NHL, especially when it will be in Korea next time. Ask any GM how they feel about their injured players coming back from the Olympics how they feel about it.

But the Olympics offer something that a World Cup doesn't- an Olympic medal and the Olympic Village (the SEX). Don't get me wrong I will still watch a WC with the same support as watching the Olympics. But I'm sure the players might think differently (since this would be an unpaid event). And it can't be in the Summer after the Cup run- too many injuries, and the hockey would SUCK. A September/October event would be much better for everyone.

Not that I'd run these at 1-1 (I would expect ++ in return on top of the principals), but guys that come to mind are ROR and Ryan Johanssen. I don't think CBJ would let RJ go, but for an American like RK17 you never know.
