Trump Tower Vancouver to boast the city's first pool bar nightclub
One of Trump International Hotel & Tower Vancouver’s most significant amenities is its pool bar nightclub – a first for the City of Vancouver.
The Vancouver nightclub will feature two wading pools for swimwear clothed partiers and features lounge space, a performance stage, a balcony with a secondary bar, and glass covered ceiling.
According to the Holborn Group, the developers of the $360-million 616-foot tall, 63-storey tower, “this lavishly designed space will entertain the most coveted VIP parties and draw celebrated DJs from across the globe creating the preeminent, glamorous entertainment centre to live it up in Vancouver.”
Another first for Vancouver is a champagne bar built within the Holborn/Trump joint project.
The mixed-use hotel and upscale residential tower at 1151 West Georgia is currently under construction and set for a summer 2016 completion. It will become Vancouver’s second tallest tower after neighbouring Shangri-La Hotel Vancouver at 659-feet.
While this is a new concept for Vancouver, pool bar nightclubs are commonplace around the world, including at exotic and vacation destinations such as
Las Vegas, Florida, Atlantic City, Mexican resorts, Sydney and Melbourne.
Toronto’s recently opened Cabana Pool Bar and Nightclub, an outdoor venue right on the lakeshore with dramatic views of the city skyline, is Canada’s largest of its kind.
