I hate to burst your bubble. As much as I love the 747 for all my life and I do follow CX fleet structure, I really do not see it being in their fleet. IMO the aircraft isn't efficient enough to outweigh fewer seats on the 77W. If they go for VLA, I would think it would be the A388 but that is a huge step up in seat count from 777...
You can catch CX 748 cargo that comes in and out of YVR at times. Awesome bird for sure.
