They probably hid it to do some damage control. I guess the thought of being remotely legally responsible got them scared. It would be mighty hypocritical of them to promote safe driving on tv (ctv paul walker coverage) and then have evidence to suggest that they asked someone to pull a burnout in the parking lot.
