<- Had 2 E38s with timing guide failures. One poorly maintained, one extremely well maintained.
Edit: My most recent timing guide failure happened a few months after pulling the valve covers and oil pan to inspect everything. Everything looked ok. They still disintegrated a few weeks ago. If you want one for cheap, I'll sell you mine. Silver on black with nav, hydraulic trunk and mp3/bluetooth. Just gotta fix the guides
