Not sure how other Orb wizzes play (I solo or play with friends who never use wiz). I only have 3? or 4 APOC on my source, but never found AP to be an issue. Currently around 52 crit, and cycling through Orb, Magic Missile, Black Hole, Mirror Image etc usually lets me "spam" orb quite often. Of course, my definition of "spam" may be very different than others.
Using no Passives that boost AP or AP regen, and using Energy Armor (minus total AP). I think I have 90 something AP.
I also don't heavily rely on orb to do damage, since I found MirrorBall (from bloodshards!), my Magic Missile shoots 3 instead of one. The damage from 3 glacial spike crits is pretty nice ;D
Item Rerolls aren't showing up. The offhand has APOC, most of my gear has crit. My amulet works well with Teleport-Calamtiy (stuns enemies, and summons 2 shadows to help fight). My weapon is actually only 19xx DPS, because I rolled the atkspeed to socket iirc.
