deep water 200-500 feet deep, rock sea bed you kind of need to know your spots. i work in tofino and there are a few boats i trade my dungeness crab for prawns!! cant wait!! =D usually i need to give some cash ontop cuz prawns are way more expensive then my crabs! two years ago i used to supply a prawn/crab distributor and was able to get wholesale price... 80 bux for 10lbs!
planning to grab a few prawn traps myself.. but the area where i catch my crab dont have big sized prawns and going to the spot i know in fortune channel is out of the way
