wow, that untreated pair looks horrible... for me, i condition all my leather shoes..
here are my 1k's, left untreated; right treated. keep 'em conditioned and you'll never have to worry about them.. but i suppose at the price point of the CDB, it doesnt really matter.. ?
i've been using MPB since day 1 and it has substantially darkened it.. i have a photo somewhere of my friends brown 1k's compared to mine which i'll have to post. his almost looks like the rust colour in comparison.
