Not sure I agree about the USA bit... though I suppose it depends on your intended specialty and where you want to end up.


My dad attended a community college in Queens, NY for accounting, yet he still managed to snag a fairly prestigious position after getting his degree. Mind you, that was... what, 40 years ago? I'm sure things have changed since then, but I'm sure it hasn't change that much since.
