Police searching for Vancouver sex assault suspect | News1130

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Police are looking for a man they believe is responsible for a daytime sex assault in Vancouver on Monday.

A 22-year-old woman was attacked on Cambie near 37th during the afternoon rush-hour.

Constable Brian Montague says they’re looking into whether this man is linked to other assaults.

“We actually believe this suspect may have been loitering in the bushes just prior to the attack and he was looking for the opportunity to prey on somebody. She did the right, she fought back and called police.”

The man is described as white, 25 years old, 5’8” tall with a medium build, sandy blond short hair and light coloured eyes. He was wearing a red baseball cap, a navy blue ¾ length jacket, baggy denim jeans and dark boot-type shoes.
