I think saying the A8 will get close to PS4/One is a bit of a stretch. However, there's no doubt the A8 is going to be quite capable as a gaming processor, especially if Apple continues with their trend of doubling processor performance with each new version.
And to think Apple is still only using two cores and keeping the clock speed down while everyone is running insane clock speeds (for ARM mobile) and maxing their core counts.
