In this shot you can see the new H11 HID bulb (replacement for the factory H9) secured into place (they provide some additional seals and rubber pieces to ensure proper fit and weather sealing. You can also see the factory power plugged into the extraction harness that will route the power back out of the headlight assembly through the dustcap grommet.

The assembly was EXTREMELY tight and the dustcap wouldn't fit back on as there was not enough clearance. I decided to see how much the plastic would compress if I began screwing the dustcap back on and to my surprise it screwed back into place perfectly ... just required a little bit of pressure.
