It's a PWM device, pulse width modulation. It has a 8 volt max output, BUT it can attain a max amperage of 20+, making it possible to output a potential of 240+ watts.
we were playing around with it yesterday, and i swear, this thing is a sexy sexy beast.
When i get my hands on it again, i'll do a proper review.
