The SSD is your OS / boot drive, right? Have you tried plugging only that drive in, and see if the PC boots up? If it does, it is more likely that the HDD is your problem.

I suspect the HDD might be configured to be a system drive as well, and that might be the cause of your problem.
Thanks guys I got it to work. SPammed the del key to get into bios before the black screen pops up and enabled/disabled a bunch of stuff in bios and now its good. Appreciate the help.
