mental health is a broad area of coverage which should not result in people classifying someone who has spent time in the mental health system as 'mental' or unable to live in society.

No one except you said any of those things. All freakshow said was that the op has had mental health problems to which the op has admitted of. No one said he is unstable or anything, freakshow was only reiterating what the op has said. No blanket statements, just facts according to what was said.
