Wow, really surprised to hear your situation with Justin. I've never been in the situation where we had to go back to the drawing board with all my tattoos, but it doesn't seem like fair treatment. I mean, if you said you didn't want to go to him, I can understand keeping a deposit, but asking for it to be redrawn/reworked is a common practice and as long as the customer is being reasonable about it, I agree thats just the cost of doing business. I mean they charge me 180 bucks a fucking hour and expect a tip as well, I expect the drawing to be included in that cost. I had a great experience with Justin and he seems like a reasonable guy so I hope it can be worked out. Although I'm not 100% clear, if you pay him 300 bucks again, does that mean you have $600 dollars towards your tattoo or is that first $300 lost. If the case is that it means you had $600 down. I'd gamble and really sit down and clarify what I liked and didn't like, and put the trust in him to redo it. But my thoughts on it are based on the experience that I had with him was great so we already have the artist/client trust established. I can understand why you'd be a little more cautious about it.
