It's your tranny going out again. Rebuild is kinda pointless because I've been reading forums and they all seem to fail again shortly after rebuild -- most guys rebuild and instantly sell the car because of the stupid tranny failing repeatedly -- or you could try to do a manual swap and drive the car into the ground, but a manual swap will run you in the $4k+ area, at that point it's cheaper to rebuild it and sell it and buy a manual yourself
It sucks, the engine is great though. Mine is at 230,000 kms and it's not burning any oil, pulling strong, not even smoking at redline like most older engines do

My four banger Accords tranny waa rebuilt 3 times in a span of 4-5 months. Tranny had a one year warranty so that was nice, other then that, it's much of a hassle because the car still ends up struggling to change gears and shifts were never smooth, and for cold starts, the tranny struggled even more
On the bright side, rebuilt only cost me $1300 with some intense Indian bargaining
