Yet we have cold war tensions coming back between Russia and the US over Ukraine in real life. Some things never really do change even though they appear to get better for awhile.
The Russian Commander reminds me of Putin. A power-mad iron-fisted ruler who's kept at bay by the rest of the world. What would Putin do if he knew there was no way the US or anyone else could stop him (due to some other world crisis)? Would he sit still and play nice? Or run over Europe?
