That's just how chain restaurants usually are, shitty.

Now a days I try and find hidden gems and new hipster plsces.

I tried this place in North van called fish works and it's not bad considering I don't like seafood

8/10. Nicely battered fish and chips (halibut) and a tasty clam chowder.
