iMac 27" (mid-2011) LCD replacement/repair

I want a cheaper way to fix the stupid LCD in the iMac. It's developed a known issue of the backlight going out/flickering, which is caused by a faulty/loose connector on the bottom left of the screen. I can kludge it, but the proper permanent DIY fix is to resolder the connectors. This is for work, so I don't want to spend hours trying to do precision soldering. So, I'm either looking for a suggestion for a shop that can fix the connector, or a place where I can just buy a replacement LCD for less than the $6oo that Apple wants.
