It's funny... how one of the mooncake brands label their calories...
I was reading it and it read:
"221 calories"
I was thinking, oh yeah, it's OKAY!
I read more carefully, and BAM:
It says "Per 1/4 cake".
That's 884 calories per mooncake!
Or.... you can have 8 scoops of ice cream (on average).
Volume wise, you can have 8 times more ice cream for every 1 mooncake you eat.
I've heard, and I'm not 100% sure, that a lot of lard is in mooncakes?
That could explain why.
