You don't need to be next to CPR's land to get your own veg. Even UBC now has their own farm that do “Community Shared Agriculture”, you basically pay a subscription for your veg and you get a huge tub of organic seasonal, greens weekly from them deliver right to your door. A lot of farmers market do that, not to mention cow sharing.. $200 for half a cow worth of meat cut for you? that's a heck of a deal.
Require more info on this cow sharing....

Google is somewhat helpful but any recommendations?

From what I've read, there isn't a place locally for as cheap as you're describing. $200 will get you less than 1/4.
