I presently use a Netgear router and I am extremely happy. But I have only used 4 Netgear wireless devices.
I am basing my comments solely on the wireless performance. The wired and routing performance of all router has never concerned me. They were all excellent in this regard.

is there a specific asus router that you would recommend? i am not that tech savvy so an easy setup would be preferred.
